Visit to Forest Lawn Museum to discuss links between art and religion, place and memory, commemoration and personal history.  Led by museum director Dr. James Fishburne and medievalist Alison Perchuk, currently a Huntington Fellow working on an interdisciplinary study of the role of nineteenth- and twentieth-century concepts of the European Middle Ages in the development of Southern California
